Mr BD was admitted to hospital last week so I put his friday night rugby match on Sky Plus so he could watch it when he came home. For some reason the match must have run over so it taped 75 minutes of an 80 minute match then stopped. Brilliant. I also taped the Isle of Wight festival for him as he a big Bruce Springsteen fan. Five hours of stuff before Bruce came on for about ten minutes and same again - the recording stopped. Can they not organise it so they tape a complete programme. What am I paying all that money for?

Obviously they can't. My Sky+HD box went wonky, saying I had a bad signal but when I did a signal test on the same cables with the box from upstairs it was showing 100% strength and signal quality. Not being in a position at the time to pay for a new HD box I decided to cancel my subscription. Phoned them up an when they asked me why I wanted to cancel they said they might be able to do something with the cost of a new box. Why didn't they say that at the outset? I now have Freesat+HD and Freeview+HD giving me all the channels I want for naff all per month.
If you go into Settings you can add 5 or 10 minutes to the end of your Recording to make sure you get all the programme.

Already have the extra 10 minutes added on as routine and still missed everything we wanted to watch. Don't think they can offer me anything as we have the full package costing £75 a month but am really fed up with them. If I ring them its a twenty minute call at least which I also have to pay for. Disgruntled of Eccles.
If you have your telephone line rental through sky, you don't pay for calls to them, doesn't help with your problem I know, but just thought I'd mention it.
