Is it a common thing? I presume it started in this case to appease the dicky bird lobby as the hedge had to be ripped out at a later date, little realising how angry this would make the hedgehog brigade.
Nothing a couple of 4" pipes won't sort out, I'm sure. (as long as the friends of the newt don't get wind of it)

Firstly, well done girls. I do think youngsters have a bad reputation these days. However around here... It ain't Beverly hills btw... the young ones stop what they're doing and always offer respect and are very polite. And I ain't no head poncho around here... speaking generally.

Getting Taylor Wimpey to have a rethink is one of their many achievements. Those two girls put a great deal of time and effort into doing the best they can for a rapidly declining creature.
