Contrariwise, the Gurkhas complained that they were too big, and the British Army had to arrange for a reduced diameter special issue.
There was a radio programme about this years ago. It revealed that there was absolutely no research done by BS into what size condoms should be. A figure of 2" diameter (now 52mm) seems to have been just plucked out of midair, yet it became their standard.'It was thought to be about right', they said!
