So sad when one of our beloved pets crosses the Rainbow Bridge.
So sorry to hear this sad news. R.I.P. little fella. x
RIP Dillon you were much loved x
Giz you gave him good life, better to let him go without pain, although that's hard xx
If my calcs are right 13 years = about 91 years in human terms.
So sorry to hear this Giz, may Dillon rest in peace.
I'm sorry for your loss, and such a good friend to you.
Such a cutie, sorry he had to go ,hurts so much at the time x x
So sorry to here that.
Three Christmases have now passed since I lost my ol' friend, and quite often on the point of waking. feel his presence around me.
Sorry for your loss, Giz. Think i'm right in believing you hinted at this outcome in another thread a couple of says back. Sounds like the same symptoms to the ones that caused me to let my 15 year old Molly go a couple of years back. Back legs gone, bit of a hump in the back, riddled with arthritis, some incontinence. Best thing for a dog in that condition is to let it go.
Togo; it took me about 12 months before i got another dog. But i'm really glad i did. My little Jack Russell makes me laugh almost every day (almost as much as our attempts on the nags) and i do believe he has breathed new life into my home.

Well remembered Ken, it was 1ozzy's thread on Friday, about his dog Mig:

Thanks again for all your kind words.
I've acquired a lovely cold over the course of the day, which goes some way to explaining my red puffy eyes :P
JR's are such fun aren't they Ken. Mine is 14 years old, is losing his sight and hearing, bad arthritic front legs and kidneys not fully functioning. But oh boy you should see him go when he's off the lead, like a puppy. He does sleep a lot of the time once we are home though. While he's so happy when he's out we'll keep going but I fear his body can't keep up with him for too much longer. But like Giz, I shall let him rest when the time is right. I've done it more than once before.
so sorry ..a very sad time xx
