We are just about to finish Sons of Anarchy and have throughly enjoyed it, especially Mr.Sam, who is hard to please. Can anyone recommend any other similar genre series ? We have watched Escobar, Vikings, Breaking Bad.

Although not available on Netflix, 'Banshee' is a brilliant Crime Series.
It was a Cinemax 4 Season series.
Available to buy from CEX on-line, or from HMV for £39.99 ( Complete 4 Seasons)
Better Call Saul was a very short series (spin off from Breaking Bad)
left me wanting more but it finished at the right time.
Not sure if it's on Netflix tho, sorry about that.
I loved that too Albs but only watched about 3 episodes at my daughters, who has Netflix. Must go to watch the rest of them sometime! ( I also watched Breaking Bad)
Oldies. The Shield. Ray Donovan. Sopranos.
Newer. Damnation. 7 Seconds.
I'll second Ray Donovan. Not currently on Netflix until series 6 in October but series 1 to 5 available elsewhere until then.
Grimm might be worth a try - my son & I both enjoyed it (he is a great fan of SoA)
We also both enjoyed Stranger Things & American Horror Story
The 4 newest Series on Netflix are :
Mindhunter (Crime)
Godless (Western)
The Punisher (Crime)
Ozark (Crime)
All highly rated by IMDB.
They are all currently on Season 1
Look them up
Have you watched the gritty hard hitting prison drama oz?

I think it’s fantastic but not for the faint hearted.

Thanks, we will take a look at these. Watched Orzak, quite enjoyed it. SofA is going to be a hard act to follow !
I agree with Jahulaye. For a fan of SofA, Oz is a great show to watch. It has the same kind of tension and politics running through it and although it has violence, it is always within the context of the storyline.
