I have just booked our holiday for this time next year,
Same place with slightly raised prices,
Just wondering at my age ( l will be 83)am I pushing my luck?
A year could make a big difference,
I have seen friends and relatives go down hill quickly in less than a year,
So to hell with it nothing ventured nothing gained, keep well folks.

Yes. I wouldn't be paying any deposits if I was you, Jordy.
I suppose we all would be to a certain extent, anything could happen to any of us in a year. If you still feel like going away on holiday, which you must if you want to book it, do it. The anticipation is a great part of the holiday. Where are you going ?
Go for it, no pockets in shrouds.
Just put the deposit down, if you can afford to lose it. It’s nice to have something to look forward to.

Strangely enough spicerack, deposits are never the problem the people who own the apartments trust us to let them know in plenty time of any problems,
For instance we had to cancel last year due to my wife’s
Cancer operation, don’t worry about it come back soon,
Lovely lovely people.

We are back here in palachora next year,
The prices have risen slightly,
Something to do with Greek taxes,
But as I said already we have had nearly 6 weeks with the temperature in the 80s
And the Fix is good
Book it now. Something to look forward to, ;*)
What's the 'fix', jordy?
hopefully it's a Greek beer

Question Author
FIX is one of the local beers spicerack,
Just one problem bottles only,
I have been asking around regarding draught,
No luck so far.
Wot No Mythos ?
Question Author
Yes retrocop, plenty it’s just that I have taken a liking to FIX,
Just a pity I can’t get it on draught,
But I will keep trying to find out who has it,
I had to give the RAKI a swerve,
Now that could become addictive.
You're a great man, Jordy. 83, swimming, walking in that heat, getting FIXed up. Fair play to you. ;-)
Buy the travel insurance now and then you're covered for a refund if you can't go.
Its always best to have things to look forward to and to encourage positive thinking. Caution and anxiety is not good for the health. Make sure you have plenty of time left on your passport, because, who knows, we might just have left the EU by this time next year!
I'm a few years older than you Jordy and just back from 3 weeks in Cyprus with my 91 year old loved one. Lovely time- swimming every day - I help him into the sea and he helps me out. He even took his walking stick into the sea one day. So I say go for it lad but don't forget the insurance. ! X

Good for you rosie29, we are going to pafos in February,
We tried swimming in the sea there last year, not very successful,so we have made a point of getting an hotel with a good indoor pool,
We are spending Christmas and new year in Budapest,
A first time for us quite looking forward to it ,cheers XX
I'll still be booking to go to Malta when I'm 83, bonny lad!
Agree about swimming in Paphos - but if you get into town the archeological museum is worth a visit. Beautiful mosaics.

For some strange reason Malta has never been on our place to go 10clarion,
Same goes for France, never been and we keep getting told you will love it,
