just to those who have been following Ricky's progress with me there has been an update. He's doing well and is beginning to start learning to walk again. He needs support while he does but he is doing what he can - still on a fair bit of meds which with all the rehab an things tire him out but he I think is trying to remain upbeat. He is also thinking when he gets home he will be able to race - but we all know it may not be possible. But this is good news and good progress and c'mon Ricky lad :)

That is good to hear Queenie. It's good that he has such a positive attitude, I'm sure that he will achieve his goal in time.

Thank you mrs chappie. We all knew I think when it happened his racing days were over but I don't think now is a good time to tell him something like this. But he could go into coaching or promotion or something so he can still be connected to what he loves most

She's a bit better today DT - much better than yesterday.
I haven't heard anything about him but I'm hoping he is doing ok (was never a fan - but knowing what Ricky has been through I'm hoping of something similar for him too.

That is good news about Ricky, he may not be able to ride again, but that is better than what could have happened.
