I have just taken receipt of the most wonderful beautiful and dramatic bouquet of flowers from all my colleagues and GPs at my surgery. It has reminded me once again how lucky I am, despite my current worries.
We hear so much on here and in the media etc about thoughtlessness, cruelty, crime and general lack of goodness, but times like these bring out the best in people and make us realise what we should be thankful for.
As you say, it is good to take stock of the overall good in the world, which is swept away by the media tide of misery and death.
By definition, anyone reading and replying to this has access to a PC, and the literacy and intelligence to use it - and that puts them very far ahead of a lot of people even in this country, never mind the rest of the world.
It's good to take a moment and realise how lucky we all are.
Must admit it took me a minute to realise Salla was back. Ive been away and obviously miseed out on whatever is wrong. Whatever it is I'm sure you'll pull through, thinking about you x
