Bill Paterson must be one of the luckiest actors around. He's made a long and successful career out of always playing 'Bill Paterson': he's the same in everything he's ever been in, can't do accents (unlike, say, David Tennant) and just plays himself with monotonous regularity.
As for his narration - I've got a Scottish accent and can read out loud. Gizza job!
