Want to pay tribute here to our wonderful NHS. As some may know, I had a total knee replacement approx 3 weeks ago. The procedure was carried out at one of the smaller facilities in Tayside - Stracathro Hospital. Had a call from them this morning to see how I was getting on and to assure me I could call at any time if I had any concerns. What wonderful service.

We don’t hear praise enough for our wonderful drs and nurses.
Glad you are on the mend.
Well done the NHS, my sister many years ago worked at Stracathro hospital. Hope all goes well for you Maggie.
Stracathro is a great wee hospital!
Everything about our NHS is good apart from the people who decide how much is spent on it and where.
I've just spent 2 weeks in hospital and my one and only complaint was the food, It was dire.
Hope all is going well for you, Maggie.
Yes, they are a wonderful lot..x
It can be amazingly varied. Sometimes dire and sometimes brilliant.
I hope you are ok, ummmm xx
Hope you are continuing to improve Maggie. Exercising well you will be fine. Hope you are feeling better too umm now you are home.
Getting much better, thanks. I have a zimmer frame supplied by the NHS. It has a seat, back rest, basket and brakes. I'm just waiting for my exercise sheets now.
As long as you are improving... xx
Glad you are improving too, Ummm.

Yes ummmm thinking of you too. Get well quickly.
When the great machine that is the NHS works well, it's absolutely wonderful.

Mr Alba would agree about the food too.

Hope you continue improving Maggie xx

Sorry for the side-track: Ummm, it's lovely to see you back, I'm a wee bit concerned that you have brakes on your zimmer - how fast do they think you can go? :-) xxxx
They did say some time back that food in hospitals was a very important part of recovery, going on your experience/ comments, very little as improved.
