Is there anyway I can get sound alerts when I have an incoming e-mail

I Do Not think there is. Hotmail has now become Outlook.com and sound alerts are Not available.

Agreed, since it went to Outlook I miss th email alerts a lot.

All part of the 'new improved' - pah!! A backward step.
