I am trying (unsuccessfully) to print out an E Mail from BT which I need to keep a record of. I have opened the E Mail and with it on screen have pressed the print button. All I am getting is a blank sheet of paper with my E Mail address top left and page 1 of 1 top right. Must be doing something wrong!!. Printer is HP 3055A and I am operating Windows 7 Home Premium. Assistance would be gratefully received. Thank you
(needless to say the printer is new and this is my first attempt at printing)

Before you open the email and while there is just a list of emails in front of you. Highlight the one you are interested in then right click and select "print". Ps. With that printer I suspect that half the capacity if the starter ink cartridges went on alignment prints.

perhaps it's something to do with your email provider - who are you with?
what happens if you highlight all the text in the email, then print "selection"?

That method works for me, too, methyl

Thank U for UR answers. Unfortunately after highlighting the email as soon as I
right click the highlighting vanishes. Also unable to find 'selection'. printer does work perfectly in printing out web pages
Not really answering your question, but why do you need to print an email to keep a record of it?
do you have to download it first, eg email saying youv'e got a bill then having to download it to read it
Highlight the text, right click, 'Copy'. Go to Word and 'Paste'?
(Then print).
