i agree - i had an issue with them last year, and it tokk me a good few months of hair tearing frustration to sort it out. it's still not really sorted. getting them to understand anything i was saying, or getting me to understand anything they were saying was a nightmare. In the end they wore me down, and i did not have the emotional energy to fight them. My contract is up in august, and i'm certainly going to leave.
Just a thought, Gness, but should your answer not have been "yes"?
If your account is with the phone you were using?
Apologies if I have picked this up wrongly!
I could get in to my (old, redundant) BT email earlier when I had a look because another friend is having the same problem as you, gness.
It now just keeps saying :
"Sorry
We're experiencing a temporary problem with Email and are working to fix it as soon as possible. Please try again later. Sorry if this causes any inconvenience"
What a load of old pony - time for you to bail out to a decent email supplier.
I only have email with BT which has now gone up to £5 a month.....I had to move my other services, phone etc, elsewhere because BT was getting more and more useless.....as is their customer service, I agree.....
BT are a nightmare to get hold of. So many menus often with an automated answer which might as well say fekk off. The best I've found is to lie to the automated questions until you finally get to speak to a real person.
The net in general is pretty sporadic this morning. AB was down for me earlier and the avatar images have been missing for an hour or so. I have also had some dropout on my email account with outlook. I will access my ot's pc account and see if she is running she is with bt for email. We have bt broadband unlimited package and are pretty happy with them. Our account is all dealt with on line, and when it was up for renewal in April, with a threatened price increase, we fired off an email to their accounts wonks and gave notice of severance...........and they "negotiated" a price reduction for us. We pointed out to them that they were offering new account prospects a better deal than the one that they wanted to charge existing loyal customers. We also did it with sky with the same result. I will disappear and check the bt mail account.
