Just went to buy a bucket. It appears that even buying bucket comes with consequences when you are me. Anyway, picked up said bucket, saw massive spider in it. My kneejerk reaction was to scream and chuck the bucket as far away as possible. Most people in the same aisle as me obviously thought I was some sort of loony on day release from somewhere. I sheepishly snuck out (after having fessed up to the manager).

I was on my period and we had a contractor in who was a bit reserved so I thought in case he was one of those men who freak at the mention of periods and tampons i'd be discreet. So I grabbed a tampon out of my bag, shoved it in my pocket and went to the loo, on sitting down I discovered I'd picked up a pepperami.....

Another spider related tale of woe.......

I have put washing in the machine but haven't been able to feed it with detergent and softener as there is a spider standing guard in front of the washing tablet box :-(

I had a little embarrassing episode this morning. I am today wearing my very first maternity clothing - a nice pair of Mothercare white linen trousers. On my way back from the fax room I dropped some of the sheets I was carrying and, on bending down to retrieve them, I split the trousers. The split actually sounded like a fart and so the whole office thought I had let one go...
