Badges!!

I'm not the best with this recommendation as I've said before, but does getting a Badge annoy you when in ,my opinion if a member has the decency to answer they all deserve best answers, what do think?

I think it's a waste of time. It's not something I look at.

Best answers are okay. I recently asked a question and it was answered with the solution. If someone searched google for the same problem that answer may appear.

No, why would it annoy me ?

All answers may (or may not) be good, but if one is worthy of being judged "best" then by definition there is only one "best" answer.

Anyway, it is always nice to be appreciated. Just mustn't take it too seriously as I know mine are always "best" really ;-)

No! no! Badges are so important to those who have a demonstrable inferiority complex and AB plays a large part in the management of their disability. Take that and Beast Answers away and who knows what may happen.

No, Badges and Best Answers are therapeutic tools which should remain.

Morn Ummmm, I have seen some cracking answers from members especially from Chico, then another member get the badge, it does not bother me in the least luck to the poster, how's my favorite town?

best answers make sense - in area's like crosswords, IT, law etc where a correct answer that solves a problem is easily identified to someone looking for an answer to the same problem

Don't really see the point or relevance in cb/news etc when its often given to the person who agrees with the OP's point of view, so its not really a "best answer" but and acknowledgment of a viewpoint

as to the other badges, i don't really pay any attention
