Got a freebie through the post today (don't recall signing up for anything though). It was a small, metal tin with a glass and metal lid. Inside was a miniature, plastic, soy sauce bottle on a key ring, the bottle advertised some brand I'd never heard of, and the sauce bottle turned out to be a USB stick - who thinks these things up?

The same person who thought it would be amusing to send a 'fresh' carrot through the post to Eurostar users.

Sadly they sent it it put just before Easter and when I got to work I was met by a festering carrot on my desk.

Not Happy :-(

Mr Alba gets Visit Wales type magazines/holiday bumff throughthe post.

On receiving the first one, I asked him if he was planning something, on the second, I told him to get a passport, on receiving the third, he reckoned he'd clicked on summat which generated these holiday mags to be dispatched.

However, he swears he never put in our address or postcode though.

I had an envelope out of the blue, not junk mail.

It's a bit eerie getting the wedding invite through the post, when one has drawn and designed the card......

Eccles, just as well as it wasn't a fish.

Back in the 60s, my grandfather managed to land on here in Cornwall, St Ives actually, a very rare event indeed, so he sent it through the post to the North. The old man received it and immediately sent it back with 'Address Unknown - return to xxxx.' It was July.
