Jehovah's Witnesses

Anyone had any experience ?
Myself: I've had half of my family ripped apart by this domatic narrow-minded, letter-of-the-bible bunch.
When they come knocking at my door I always greet them with "Yayy! JOEBOES !" and if they invite me to be a witness I tell them "sorry, I didn't see the accident".

I study with them Thursday meeting, Friday study and have a meeting on Sunday morning. I don't know where all you lot get the idea of only a few ascend to heaven, you have been grossly misinformed.
I think what you've all heard (probably from Catholic decent) is incorrect. Or do you all just enjoy arguing among yourselves ?
There is a Watchtower book called 'Reasoning of the Scriptures'. It's a book used in the field Ministry so you might have trouble getting it if you wish that is? may-be on amazon??? Find it and read it.
All I've said is correct. I have no reason to lie to you. And several JW's are close friends.
I have no place to judge you all or in life so believe what you will. I've found happiness through faith, and all the JW's are trying to do is the same. As I've said modern day apostles. If only one would take the time to listen.
That's all I have to say. God bless you all.

jomifl in a way yes. I have though studied the Biblical canon, non-Biblical scripts and codex's along with the Qur'an, along side the Torah, Hinduism, Krishna, the works of various other religions Maya's etc etc, so I have a vast library of what's what. So I'm not telling porkies as it were. Believe me or not, the only one true thing is I'm at peace with my self. And as this world is a truly wicked place, my inner sense of peace is all I need. Don't we all ? What ever way one wishes to find it.
My mother turned JW just before dad died. They did help her through it but then so would any other religion I suppose. We darent bring up religous subjects with her as once she starts, she wont stop. They think they are so right and that everyone else is wrong. When JWs come to my door, my OH winds them up but I just say I hear it all from my Mum (which isnt really true cos I dont listen to what she says) but it gets rid of them quickly
Most people probably have a belief of some sort and depending on where they were born, we are all bound to be different. If my mother had been born in i.e. Israel, then she would think differently but you cannot get this through to her. I dont think they should go annoying people in their own homes to try to convert them. Others dont.
Thats me for today folks

tweaker, you need to study more because as has already been said, you're wrong. According to JWs all will not go to heaven. This is the official website:

Tweaker, you spout dogma to the power of ten, and you know what - it's JUST YOUR OPINION ;
"Right. Last time" - uh oh, looks like "hit and run" dogma.
"All I've said is correct." LMAO - outrageous opinionated "fee fi fo fum" style dogma.
You are just another little person whose sh!t smells the same as the rest of us, you have b=no right to preach that what you believe is true and correct.
ps. The Watchtower's pages make damn good paper planes, I found this out in a laundrette in Devon ! (far too scratchy for bottom-wiping though).

Just seen your post pop up pinkilady, the JWs do believe there are some who go to heaven they're the 144,000 mentioned in the Revelation and will reign with Jesus, these apparently have already been chosen (they were the only ones allowed the bread and wine). The other people will all be judged on judgement day to know if they'll have eternal life on earth. By the way, I am not a JW but know what they preach.
