Is there anybody left on here who seriously considers Islam to be what it claims to be?
A religion of peace?
And if so, why?

^Not us, perhaps, but our children and grandchildren will live in a very different world.
or as Mark ("The Zuc") Zuckerberg said, in his gormless, 'I dont know what is happening in my own country besides how rich I am' phase:

"if you had asked me in 2004 when I founded my phenomenally successful internet company what I would be doing in 2018,
wondering if the internet had changed the outcome of an election in 'merica would NOT be top of my mind"

but surely he was paid to do that ?
I think you could say that about every child/grandparent generational gap since the industrial revolution.
that was to Naomi
Zacs-Master, you could ...
So why did you feel the need to point it out?
Because I can. If you've woken up cranky try going back to bed and getting out the other side.
I think all religions have in their smallprint that violence is okay to use in self defence of said religion.
I think you’ve confused ‘cranky’ with ‘intollerant Of superfluous / extraneous comment’.
All your posts here consist of superfluous/extraneous comment. No confusion here, Zacs.

flobadob, what Islamists are doing is not in defence of their religion.
We should maybe start a club then. You can be president. I’ll be press secretary. What fun.
You're on your own, Zacs.
Shame really. It would have been a hoot, I’m sure.
// Judaism presents no threat. //
Really?. Ask anyone in a country neighbouring Israel and they will tell you it does pose a threat to peace.

// It doesn't seek converts //
Of course it does. There is a set out process for processing converts. https://www.haaretz.com/jewish/conversion-denomination-by-denomination-1.5312401

// and it doesn't seek to conquer and control. //
It is one of the world biggest military industrial complexes with an army bigger than Germany, Poland or Australia.

I am not threatened by 15 muslim MPs nor do I feel threatened by 19 Jewish MPs. But I would not want either religion to have a majority in the House of Commons.
I’ve always assumed it’s labelled “The religion of peace” because no matter how many heinous acts are carried out in it’s name, the powers that be (in all countries) are too gutless to admit they got it wrong by allowing such a large influx, and it’s easier to say that the majority are “peace loving” as diversionary tactic.
Gromit, stop spinning. Judaism presents no threat to this country, nor to Germany, Poland, Australia or to the wider world.

Judaism does not SEEK converts- ever. Some people, predominately those who wish to marry Jews, seek conversion, but the process is very complex – as you will see from the link you provided. For reasons that are obvious to anyone who knows anything about Judaism, the Jews don’t want outsiders and they never have. It’s as simple as that.
All religions use threats of some sort. From being barred from heaven to punishment of some sort.
The Religion Of Peace? The most excellent, Jordan Peterson doesn't think so;
