Conkers are for repelling spiders and also come under 'witchcraft supplies) - I can't even remember why we were looking for them.
I'm still trying to deal with the caterpillars I ordered...

Have a friend who regularly sends stick insects by post. I was horrified at first but apparently they travel ok.

We bought some cooked bugs in Thailand. OH tried them and offered me some...not a hope in hell, I don't care how much sauce they are smothered in.!

I was down at Canary Wharf last summer, and the Economist magazine had a stall outside trying to attract new readers by offering free ice cream. I almost took one till I read their billboards properly
