My friend acquired a small ginger kitten for Christmas and has called it the daftest name I ever heard. I will not state what is in case she or her family are reading this and I would prefer to keep my identity private.

tonyav, I've heard the joke about cooking fat, also. Tell everybody the background story about a cat with that name.

If I said its name then my Stargazer identity would be outed as only they would have a cat called "B****". Also they kmow I find it ridiculous.
To give you some idea of why I think that, it is similar to calling a cat Keith just as an example!
When I was little (that's my excuse anyway!) my tortoiseshell cat was called Allsorts. Now that's daft!
My cat is called 'Deeley'.
