I'm just about to pop a joint of beef in the oven. I will have it rare with roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli, cabbage, and yorkshire puds. Lots of gravy and some hot horseradish....

Nothing yet, there's only me here, I'll look in the fridge later.
Were having roast beef as well today.
I haven't quite decided yet, but it is looking likely that I'll do some sort of chicken casserole. Either chicken in red wine, or chicken in white wine or sweet and sour. Dont know. It really depends on what I've got in the cupboards without having to walk to the shop.

For dessert we are having apple tarte tatin with caramel sauce.
Sounds great ummmm, we are having chicken breasts in tomato and onion sauce with new potatoes and runner beans. Yours sounds better, any room at your table for two more? LOL ..... :)
Stir fry veg with black bean sauce and baked cod fillet.
Roast turkey today, (most) trimmings, although don't have enough ingredients to make yorkies :(
Apparently we're having venison pie with new potatoes and peas.
Bacon sandwich, chicken is still frozen, lol. Probably have dinner this evening!
A tangerine and maybe some toast. Not in the cooking mood today. Yours sounds delish ummmm xx

I bought some venison yesterday. I've never tried it before.

Oooo Prudie, you'll have to give me the recipe :-)
Wow that's posh Prudie - I have tried venison once but found it a bit strong and thought "O deer" LOL :))
It's like very lean beef Ummmm. We buy ours off a friend who's licenced to cull. It puts me off a bit I must admit.
4 breast of chickens in casserole dish, with carrots, onion, smells gorgeous.
Mashed potatoes, steam vegetables. dinner at six.
Will go in oven in an hour.
Haven't been shopping and I haven't defrosted anything either :-(

Bacon sarnie, bacon and mushroom sarnie or Welsh Rarebit are all looking likely. Unless the bread is looking a bit furry in which case it will be cheese & biscuits.

If the cream wasn't a week out of date I'd make leek & bacon pasta.

Prudie, I got it from the supermarket, it's the first I've ever seen it so had to buy it. I hope I like it now.
