Evening all, just been out for dinner and mojitos and then we sat listening to a marvellous duo, friends of Mr N, all genre of music loved it I hated the guitar music that Mr N liked and he didn't even know the songs that I liked, a good night was had by all. I had cod and chip, a treat!

Just had a swim in the pool, now ating an icecream andwatching ole Rafa, yay!!!

well, woken up by heavy rain at 4 and here I still am... very nice party last night, our neighbours have a knack for making interesting friends (self not included). But a proper night's sleep thereafter would not have been unwelcome. I shall probably collapse around lunchtime.

I did think of going to watch the Great River Race today but (a) it's on Saturday and (b) they've moved it to next week anyway (it used to be the week before Open House Day, I'm sure, but now it coincides) so that won't be necessary.

I hope everyone else is getting enough sleep, though some may be up and about on far-flung islands.

morning all......enough sleep, now theres an interesting and unlikely concept.....long day yesterday but all in all ok. Blessings on my Sis (I know I keep saying it but she is wonderful) for allowing me to do what I need to.

Good morning friends - I missed out the Biddy deliberately. Have a good rest Woofy. And yes I totally agree Sisters are brilliant. Both mine are in different ways. My eldest is mum (not really but she could be) and my youngest is just my sister but great with it. Struggling with my phone this morning (35 mins) been talking to a man in India who started work at their time 1p.m. and I was his first customer. Still not got my phone right - going to Orange Shop again tomorrow. Also back at achool. I'm so pleased I do miss it.
Now Shaney I'm struggling with the usual today as well. Just managed to solve one clue and get the grid right.... see yer later 'gatere(s) have a good and restful day...

Morning all..another somnambulist here, not enough sleep for me either, I was awake at 2am. Might have been because I'd been laughing too much again before I went to bed, it was a night of QI on beeb2.
I don't think I'd qualify as an interesting guest at jno's neighbours party but my tinnitus is something else. If my head could be attached to a microphone I could provide a spectacular firework display in surround sound ....tut. I was going to put a Q in B&S but I expect someone'll be along shortly with the same problem. ;o)

I love guitar music neti & have put Milos' The Guitar on my xmas list already ...and I've a feeling I'll be adding James Morrison's new album on the strength of his new song, I just love his voice...(weird video tho')

A very late good morning to you all. Not getting up for another hour yeet and that's when we go out for paella, can't have the wine as I will be driving and dragging la hija to work (she's still out partying on this far-flung island).

Had a fascinating dream of Robi and Shaney. Shaney had gorgeous chestnut shoulder length hair and was covered in jewels (in the daytime too),Robi was small and petite in a lovely shirtwaister dress with brown hair all curly and light on top on the head, but everytime I looked at her she had changed her hairstyle , once was blond and draped across the face. I was phoning Mr N to tell him that they were coming to our new big house but the phones kept disintegrating and my htc snapped completely in half longways. We were waiting for jude and lottie who never materialised. Sorry jno and woofy you weren't in it but I guess I was letting you sleep!

I was jolly glad to wake up, I can tell you.

I had a strange dream too... I dreamt that two people I knew (nobody I know in real life, just dream people) announced their engagement, and I was surprised... and then other people told me they weren't, as they'd seen it coming... Look, how come people in my dreams know more than I do? Am I scripting this dream or aren't I?

oh dear, not you now Lottie, hope it doesn't go on for hours. The weather's not helping, wind's really getting strong...batten down the hatches, hurricane Katia's a-comin'.

Strange dream for me too! A van pulled up outside my kitchen window - physically impossible unless it was chitty chitty bang bang. A man I knew got out & I thought I'd put the lights on so he'd know I was in. I kept switching but they wouldn't come on (must have been energy savers, haha). Anyway I opened the door & I knew he was there but I couldn't see him. Weird.

neti I like the way I keep being associated with big houses...oh hang on, big house, doesn't that mean jail?:o/

Have had to leave my paella lunch half way through to take bluddy hija to work, Mr N is still at the restaurant imbibing a whole bottle of wine seeing as I am driving grrrr. Will go back in half an hour to have my ice cream!

Right all done and collected or delivered, Mr N thoroughly enjhoying drinking wine and me driving!! Have finished my lunch and back in the cool bedroom until midnite run!

Feeling a bit better after taking arthritis tablets and paracetamol together. I decided against Ibuprofen 600mg every 4 hours!!!!

I just have one of my ache all over and weird joint thingies. I couldn't pick a saucepan up this morning and when I threw a ball for Meggie I felt like I had dislocated my shoulder. I should have got used to having these weird episodes by now!!

My dreams at the moment are diabolical - so complex it's ridiculous and always full of anxiety. I often have dreams where I am trying to turn lights on and nothing works, Robi. I wonder what it means. I seem to be running a temperature on and off, which doesn't help.

Sorry to moan.

Been a sticky warm sort of day, but plenty of sunshine. Going to cook some dinner in a minute. Stuffed giant courgette!!!!

I've felt all that you describe Lottie & I could go from stone cold to hot, hot, hot in seconds but I put it down to fibro & hrt withdrawal...maybe there's a virus going around too? It's not the kind of thing we want to get used to tho' is it? I think it's a full moon tomorrow, let's hope we (all) feel better after that.
I've been on a light diet all week while my body adjusts, big meals use up too much strength to prep, clear away and digest!

I'm offski, ITV3 are showing Darling Buds, it started from scratch last Sunday...sheer escapism, perfick :o) KBO

Just called in to say Goodnight to all. I hope you have a more painfree one than you have been having. My NF has been round for a Baileys coffee and a catch up. We had a laugh trying to sort my phone with suggestions from her on how to get it working and one from me saying throw it in the bin. And then I got Chronic Cramp in the top of my leg and was jumping around til it went while my NF was laughing yet again at my antics.
Anyway I'm off to be have to get up early in the morning to make a Drs. appointment..... Sleep tight see you all tomorrow night - (that nearly rhymes dunnit) all being well.
