The Club is now Open.

Good Evening and Welcome to all our members and to any other waifs and strays that care to grace our clubhouse.
It is a miserable night out, as the poet says:

No warmth, no cheerfulness, no healthful ease,
No comfortable feel in any member--
No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees,
No fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds,
November!

But we shall be warm and cosy inside with our drinks and nibbles .

Any members wishing to volunteer to give tonight's talk should make themselves known.

Good evening Milady, what a lyrical opening to the night.

Ena (ttfn) sends apologies, she has IT problems and may not be able to attend, she is with us in spirit though (large Brandies methinks)

Tailcocks and nibbles are on the hall buffet table.
For the raffle I have

Banana bath foam
3 apostle spoons
10 beermats
a jigsaw of the leaning tower of pisa
Question Author
Hello Mamya, glad you approve of my quotation.
Hope I win the jigsaw...are all the bits there ?

Also, the banana bath foam...very intriguing...didn't know you had to bathe bananas. (Though I always wash my apples .)
Good evening to you both. I apologise for this fleeting visit (I'm writing my Christmas cards and must finish them tonight) but, as you see, I have brought two raffle prizes to make up for my absence. I have an oven-ready turkey, which I caught myself, plus the usual box of Black Magic. Have a good evening and please contact me by owl-mail of I win a prize. See you all next week. Byeeeeee.....

Hello and goodbye DSJ...such a fleeting visit...perhaps if your poor wrist gets tired of writing cards you may return later in the evening.

Oven ready turkey and Black Magic ..there's a winning combination if ever there was.
Fire up the oven Mamya, Christmas has come early.
Oh DSJ what a lovely and very festive offering, will pop the bird in the scullery for now.

Oh yes Milady always wash my fruit you can never be sure.

The jigsaw, well not sure if all pieces are there, maybe the tower may lean a bit more??
