The Club is now open.

At the latest Committee meeting, it was decided that, in view of the recent good weather, volunteers would be asked to do the needful.
So far the results have been quite encouraging.

The Lost Property cupboard has been turned out and the contents used for dusters, so any members having lost any items are asked to look for them in the kitchen cupboards. There is a sewing machine in the upper left-hand attic if anyone wishes to effect repairs.

Evening Milady, I have as always been very needful. Tailcocks are prepared and nibbles of various varieties are on the long buffet sidebaord.

I took the liberty of making Alfie a patchwork blanket from some offcuts, it does get chilly round the butlers pantry of an evening.

Good evening, Mamyalynne. How nice to see you again.

Alfie is most welcome to any offcuts etc. I hope the treadling did not take it out of you.

Thank you so much for the lovely tailcocks and nibbles.

Talking of butlers' pantries, do you think we might persuade alexanderd to take up the post of butler ? (As well as gardener, moat cleaner and general factotum ?)
You are most welcome, theres a cool breeze blowing, shall I light the chimmy... er chima... er outside fire?
Question Author
An excellent idea. Do be careful with the petrol, though.
Question Author
Gosh it's quiet here tonight......the good weather do you think ?
Must be I suppose, at least those wasps have gone quiet, or I have gone a bit mutton. Fire is ticking over nicely, feet up and a drinky I feel, do have a filo parcel filled with wild mushrooms and best witshire ham.
good evening Ladyalex,Matron, not sure I can afford to do the buttling as well M,lady especially with a budget coming up or is that a budgie?
Hello, here I am whinging again. I think we should sack the committee. First the raffle is banned now we all need to be needful. Who are these people? Can we have an election?
Best Wiltshire whotsits are smashing, thanks mamya.
Question Author
I think you must have got rid of the wasps.....they were here the other night , but not now.

Thank you so much for the filo parcel. I don't mind if I do.
Perhaps we could pick some herbs from the garden later......
Question Author
Hello, Miss Meg and alexanderd.

No buttling for you then, alexanderd ? Worth a try.

I take your point about the Committee, Miss Meg, they are a bit bossy. Maybe you could take over as head cook and bottle washer ?
MissMeg dont tell her I whispered this but I think the comittee consists of LadyAlex and we do as we are told
But can she afford to, thats the question. There are Haggis pasties warming in the aga, served with beetroot relish.
<<hoot hoot hoot>> here I am, hallo everyone - I had to go back for my vuvezela, I got it free with the Sun one day last week. I must say one on its own doesn't have the same effect as a throng - it echoes a bit round the entrance hall, though.
Don't mind washing bottles but cooking is not my forte unless you fancy incinerated frogs legs on toast.
Evening Alex, do be wary of the offer of another job. You will only end up paying her ladyship!!
Haggis pasties matron! how on earth did you manage to catch enough of the little things
MissMeg her ladyship is very generous at Xmas though, last year I got an empty whiskey bottle and a lovely pair of tartan socks
My lasso skills are legenday!!
Foo, you're lucky alexander, I was given some underwear which looked like it was made out of the flag after it was brought down from the flagpole.
Hi boxy, had you down as more intelligence than Sun reader. Hope you're enjoying your veni thingy.
No beetroot for me mamya, you know the effect it has.
