Explanation:

The radio programme was "I'm sorry I'll read that again"* (I think) and the participants (people like Bill Oddie, Tim Brook-Taylor, Kenneth Horne, Barry Cryer, Jo Kendall, etc.).

One round they had to announce participants entering the ballroom. The one I've butchered here was "Mr and Mrs Wall-Carpeting and their son Walter" (giving of course wall-to-wall-carpeting).

*It may have been one of the spin-off shows like "I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue"
definitely ISIRTA
In the same vein I shall add... Mr and Mrs Queue and their daughter Barbie.

Some of you might remember ISIHAC with Humphrey Lyttleton. What a radio programme that was -Superb!
Are people aware that these programmes are often on Radio 4 Extra. There s a comedy programme on several times on most days eg, Round the Horne is on on Mondays.
ISIHAC ;-)
Mr & Mrs Bates and their son Master Bates.
...and a heartfelt welcome to Mr & Mrs Lott and their dog breeding daughter Winnie.

///Taxi for Hugh Jarse///

Reminds me of the story of how The Goon Show got one over the BBC Censors. They invented a Captain Hugh Jampton, which of course looked harmless in the script. When spoken (deliberately lewdly) however it sounded Huge 'ampton (cockney rhyming slang 'ampton Wick).
