The hallowed portals of Nungate Towers are yet again thrown wide open in welcome all the Mad over fifties out there in AB land.
Come and frivol in the Great Hall, the Tapster has concocted possibly his best ever tailcock the "Cats Whiskers" (where he found the whiskers we don't know) but he claims it is a tasty brew which packs a real kick! For those among us who abstain the demon alcohol, he has been hard at work brewing you a delightfully decadent alcohol free drink the "cats paw!" guaranteed to refresh and deliciously quaffable. The hot plate special for this evening is a warming beef casserole with dumplings, and on the pudding trolley there is a creamy rice pudding (with jam if desired) plus a variety of ice creams (Scoff the chef has been busy this week!) The Minstrels have finally managed to return from the Minstrels convention on Muckleflugga (a bit of a per adventure by all accounts) and they will again deight us with their selection of Madrigals and fugues, later on they have promised to play us their own versions of the Greatest hits of Freddie and the Dreamers! (I can't wait) We have dancing in the great hall, food in the dining room, the hot tub in the North Tower is all fired up and ready, the bungee in the South Tower is primed and awaiting it's first .... vic.. volunteer of the evening.
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these doors

Aw Dicky that's so sweet! We'll pass the Tortelloni to Scoff to stuff, just one thing, please don't press your nose against the glass, it does leave a mark and poor Dyson isn't as nimble as she once was.....

So pleased to be here again....excuse the great lump of plaster on my leg...last week's bungee jump ...spent all Saturday night in accident and emergency so will not be throwing myself off anything tonight ! .....brought half a jar of stuffed olives from Christmas and a bag of coffee creams extracted from Xmas choccies...think I'll try the new cocktail please...is Tony here yet ?

For the rofle I have bought with me one prop shaft suitable for a 1976 Triumph Stag ( center uj joint knackered ) one tube of ready mixed White filler for decorating purposes ( gone solid, frost got to it in the shed ) and a bottle of dandelion and burdock pop ( gone flat, left the top of all night ).

Where is the cat by the way..?.....this drink tastes a bit like chicken whiskas.......Will have another please...must be an acquired taste like Guinness.....is she here yet ?...that woman...must keep her away from my Tone tonight...I am sure it was her that sabotaged my lackey band last week...jealous of me in my pink sparkly thong you know....it dried out fine and after a good steam press is good as new now.....Got it on under this creation by Mrs Becks..

Our cats are all fine Minty, and there is no Whiskas in the "whiskers"
The Pink Sparkly came out of the wash really well didn't it?

Well.....a little taut in the undercarriage area but it will give a bit with wear...Tone..there you are...try the whiskers....nicer than the goats milk....did you put them in the barn before you left...bit chilly tonight..must try to keep them happy nearly time to...ahem....breed ....by the way....keep away from that woman tonight..she's out to set us asunder you know that don't you ?
