The Club is now Open

Welcome once again to all members old and older.

The Committee have not met this week as we were inquorate.
Do not concern yourselves about this, though, dear members. A doctor was consulted and measures have been put in place.

For tonight's raffle , so far we have:

A Beano Annual 2007 (mostly intact )
Three cups, two saucers and five plates (nearly matching)
Four odd gloves (brown, green, black and tan)
A football with a very small hole

Tailcocks are generally served in one of two measures - flagon or bucket...
Hello!

Haven't been around for ages (lovely care home though). For the raffle I would like to proffer a stuffed savaloy, 2 mittens (1 orange. 1 blue - both hand knitted) and I would dearly love a Glitz if there is one to spare
Mr Helmet is not trouserless (I had to ask him your question whilst averting my gaze) & he's ok - he's in his Match of the Day jim jams
Question Author
Welcome back, sackville.
Off the tag now ?

Thanks for the raffle prizes.
Say hello to JIm for me then.
Sackville Howdo - they let you out!!
Good evening miss sackville - a flagon of Glitz & may I relieve you of your outerwear?

Miss lardhelmet - are they the ones with little John Motsons & Gary Linekers all over them?
Question Author
He'd best watch out for the bodkin then , Lard....jimjams are a bit flimsy. Don't really afford a great deal of protection.....
I have medications for the 'Motsons' on my trolley
Question Author
Are they catching ?

Or is that a different sport ?
Fear not m'lady - reinforced gusset
Question Author
Ah safety pyjamas...I take it they have elastic waist, fly buttons and a cord to tie them up too ?
Yes, luckily the archdeacon managed to persuade 'the authorities' that it was all a dreadful misunderstanding. Such is life. Have managed to sneak out now and again and follow your adventures though. Nice to be back.
Question Author
And lovely to see you back, sackville.

Do remember if they come for you again that there are lots of nooks and crannies around here that you could hide in....the Butler knows most (but not all) of them.
I have a large portmanteau if you don't mind sharing with Alfie/
Question Author
I wouldn't have said your portmanteau was large, Mamya...medium at the very most.
I only have books and grannies here and when 'they' come to get you neither of them can be hidden behind. C'est la vie!
Question Author
AH well, we tried, sackville....
Certainly, miss - "lavvy".

I am unsure as to what that has achieved, however...
Yes m'lady -his jim jams are equipped with all the safety equipement. No people on them LiK - just footballs with holes in them?
