...of people with flu-like post vaccine symptoms. I had the Astrazeneca so I was fully prepared for a reaction.
I was fine last night except for a hint of a headache. Woke over night, ice cold and achey. Tried to sleep through it but got up at 6am for paracetamol. Woke 2 hours later hot and sweaty...with a cat licking my face. Feeling blehhh right now. It will be a hot drink/paracetamol day.
Hope all are ok this morning...it's quiet here.

Oooops!
(I read 'a reaction' as 'erection'...)
Mine hit me like a ton of bricks, pasta. Take heart - it's not likely to last too long.
I hope you recover quickly - had my jab on Monday (A-Z) and OK so far.

Shoota, do you need glasses? ;)
Naomi, I figure it's a good excuses to be very lazy. Shame it's a nice day.
Canary, you must be one of the lucky ones.
Pasta, I hope you feel better soon .
Husband had his AstraZ o Sunday and has not had one symptom except a bit of a sore arm. I'm having the Pfizer one on Friday, as my consultant feels its a better alternative to the AZ for me. Don't know what to expect , but I've got my supply of paracetamols and spiced rum just in case.
I had the Pfizer jab at the end of January, nothing other than the mildest of 'bruised' sensations the next day. Same for a neighbour done at the same time.

along with me and millions of others . . .

Doing a bit of reading, statistically, women are more likely to have/report reactions.
It's recommended no booze before, and up to 2 weeks after. Of course it depends on who is saying it.
oops ...how rude......forgot to say 'get well soon' Pasta!
Pasta -rubbish about the booze - Oh has been knocking back the lagers and rum all weekend and reckons its done him good lol!

The leaflet I got said 1 in ten can get reactions.

Thanks APG...;)
I may hit the wine tonight...right now I feel so rubbish that nothing is very appetizing.
I had mine (AZ) on Sunday at 5.40pm.
Had a slight headache during the evening but awoke in the middle of the night with a temperature just short of 100 degrees and shivering so hard I could barely keep the thermometer still enough to read. Monday morning I felt like I'd been in the tumble-drier with a bag of bricks for company. Improved considerably during the day but started feeling cold and achey mid-evening (this came on very quickly). Shivering with cold in bed but no temperature this time. Woke up yesterday morning feeling tired with my aches and pains much diminished. Slept well and warmly (but not too warmly) last night. Feel a lot, lot better today but if I hadn't got a houseful of decorators, I reckon I could still go back to bed a sleep for quite some while....

I saw that headline zacs...I'll try to put it out of my mind for 10-12 weeks.

Napping is on my to do list today, Jack.
I've been unaffected to the extent I begin to wonder if she missed my arm ;-)
I had absolutely no problems whatsoever. (AZ) But then again I never do with the flu vaccination either.

'er indoors had no problems either (PZ), got her second next week (She is NHS) see how that goes.
Yep, I'm definitely on the reaction list. I felt terrible last weekend. It was like having actual flu.
