Further to micmak's post about the obscene amounts of money awash in football,
I suggested a list of those who should be put against the wall and shot.
I started by:~
1.Estate Agents.
2.Overpaid Fottballers.
3.Financial Advisers(courtesy of Starbuckone)

I bought a mobile home/caravan at Billing Aquadrome in 1999. It was one of the worst decisions I ever made. I only stayed there three weekends and that was enough. I came to dislike the park which only seemed to suit jetskiers. The club was depressing and so were the boozy lot in it.

However, the park management were lovely people - until I bought the caravan! As soon as it was mine they completely changed! The final straw was when they announced they were raising the ground rent by whatever figure they liked and I had seven days to pay in full or they would start proceedings to remove the caravan from the park - at my expense!

I sold the caravan back to the rogues for a £4000 loss. I can't even look at the place now as I drive past. Billing Aquadrome!

Oh dear Andy...It would have been in the 70's and 80's we had ours so at a time when it was good. I think I've been back there once since...

micmak - White elephant is the pub that was on the corner at the junction with Abington Grove/Kinsley Road/Kinglsey front. British Timkin is still there...another area that's completely built up now.
Andyvon. In 1979 it was a good place to be for a night out.

Ummm. I should have said I had a 6 year old not a 3 year old.
Ummm. My wife worked at Reason and Pickles. She was an engineer there. One of the first i believe. It was just off St James Park road. Hillards Supermarket was just up the road. Am I too old for you to remember .

Well I know St James Park Road...but yeah, I was born in 73 and didn't move here until 77....A lot of my family were here though. Mother and Fathers side. My Nan and Grandad had a pub on Abington Square.
ELVIS...Who's Lizzy? xox
Lizzy Cundy, ex wife of 90`s footballer Jason Cundy, who was a mediocre player for spurs and chelsea

She claims to be spokeswoman for the WAGs..she`s the wrong side of 40, vainer than Louis Spence and is just vile
