How much more disrespectful can Jeremy Corbin get . Blue hoodie coat and hardly a respectful bow when laying down the Labour Party wreath . As a family of all ages we are so angry . We lost Family in both World Wars and my husband served in the Royal Marines 1956 to :1963 and had to come out with health problems or he would have stayed in . Our Children and Grandchildren have really taken in all the horrors of war particularly this year .And then they see the leader of the Labour Party acting so badly.I really can't repeat what they staid . Heaven help us if he ever becomes Prime Minister .He is so bigoted .

Just typical of the man.
He's also been lambasted for his choice of Poppy pin - just thought, did anyone check they liked his socks or have they something better to do?
Surprised he turned up in time. He would of missed it if he listened to David Lammy MP( Labour)
^ No call for that, mamya.
Memories of Michael Foot and his donkey jacket.
shades of Michael Foot and his donkey jacket!
Duffel coat Hoppy
Isn't there? I have no allegiance to the man at all but it seems to me that this is not the occasion to focus on someone's choice of jacket, he laid the wreath with the same level of dignity as anyone else.
Making political capital out of Remembrance Day is despicable - Corbyn behaved with quiet dignity and respect, shame that his critics can't do the same.
Jeremy Corbin was a disgrace, even the German president paid more respect.

sorry to stray off your topic

//my husband served in the Royal Marines 1956 to :1963//

Did he by chance serve with 45 Commando in Cypus in 1956. Troodos.
His coat wasn't appropriate and he stood out like a sore thumb.
JC is a complete disgrace.
Retro 45 commando were based in Malta 56 to 59 while I was there.
What a lot of hoo-hah from all these armchair soldiers and their wives and friends.

You would have complained if he'd rolled up in full military uniform with a chestful of medals, wouldn't you?
Patsy is obviously an elderly lady with a point of view. You can take a different one and express it. There's just no call for snidey remarks.
Yes, and I'm an elderly man with a point of view!

My comment stands.
Can't stand the man but to criticise the size of his poppy is frankly pathetic and small minded. The bigger the Poppy the greater respect ? I think not. It was a red poppy also.
bainbrig// all these armchair soldiers//
So which regiment did you serve with?
