My first thought was how much I enjoyed the TV series Clochemerle, with Dotrice, Cyril Cusack, Wendy Hiller, Dennis Price, Nigel Green and Kenneth Griffith, narrated by Peter Ustinov. What a dream cast.

back in the 60s he did a performance of Brief Lives, playing the part of the writer John Aubrey. At half time he just stayed on stage sleeping.
