Anyone going to see this?

I lost interested in James Bond after Roger Moore but I might go as I like Pheobe Waller-Bridge and it seems to have gone down well with critics, not that I usually go by what critics say.

if you go, please let us know if he dies!
It does look good, but I won't be going to see it. I'm not a huge James Bond fan and do enjoy watching them but not a franchise I'd watch over and over again or desperate to go see.
It's bound to be a Christmas movie on the telly in a couple of years time. I'll almost certainly watch it then but I won't be rushing to a cinema right now.

It's 24½ years since I last visited a cinema and I see nothing to prevent me reaching a full quarter of a century without seeing a film on a big screen (especially at a time when spending the better part of three hours in a confined space with strangers probably isn't a great idea anyway).
Watched all the original Sean Connery 007 films then lost interest until Daniel Craig came on the scene. Have thoroughly enjoyed all his films and going to see the latest on Friday.
in short, no

some of the bond themes are good, but not a lover of the movies

someone dragged me along to casino royale... and I fell asleep!
^^^ The original Casino Royale was MUCH better, Emily ;-)

I will be going
3 hours of escapism sounds a treat right now !
Oh the wonderful David Niven, the most urbane of men.
Last time I went to the cinema (a few years ago) i got stuck with a family in the row behind who proceeded to consume their own body weight in drinks and snacks.
The smell was appalling, and as for the noises.............!
Put me off cinemas (and concert theatres) until they ban food and drink in all auditoriums.
Now the sort of cinema I like is the type where yo can dine and enjoy a few glasses of wine. There used to be one of those in Brussels and in, of all places, Montpelier, in Vermont. Saw the Madness of King George at that one, a very good red wine and some delicious pasta that came either from the New England catering college across the road or a lovely Italian restaurant not that much further away called Sarducci's....
I'd watch the new Bond at an equivalent over here but the idea of being in a flea-ridden cinema with the chance of catching Covid, no way....not at the moment.
The film was brilliant and engaging throughout
I highly recommend seeing it
Doesn't interest me at all.
If James Bond is such a successful secret agent why does everyone else in the film know him?
no idea, but to me there was only one James Bond and that was the first, Sean Connery.
I thought Roger did a half decent job, just can't understand why someone so secretive is so well known.

Silly Ozzy, it's because he's so good at his job!
Never been a fan of Bond movies, prefer comedies myself
No interest at all.
Used to half watch them years ago, only because my Mother absolutely loved Sean Connery!
We saw this earlier: the first time I’ve seen a Bond film at the cinema since the first time I ever went, to see The Man With the Golden Gun.
And I’ve hardly watched one since so I’m not probably the best qualified to comment but I thought it was overlong and from what I do recall of Bond films in the past, it was low on humour. One of the villains sounds like one of the meerkats.
On the plus side, Daniel Craig is outstanding and the location scenes in Matera are stunning.
Other than that, Q is gay and Miss Moneypenny is black, which is good to see I guess.
And James is a daddy :-)
What is the plot ?
Just back from seeing it, and it was fabulous
Q is gay? That'll be LGBTQ to give him his full title.
