Cabbage?
A curse or a blessing?
Hated it as a kid, now love it!
It used to be the horrible green stuff lurking on the side of my plate.
Shoving it around with a fork didn't fool anyone!
''Eat your cabbage!''

(Still hate parsnips!)

Affinity (Cabbages and Roses) I wonder if the cabbage knows He is less lovely than the Rose; Or does he squat in smug content, A source of noble nourishment; Or if he pities for her sins The Rose who has no vitamins; Or if the one thing his green heart knows -- That self-same fire that warms the Rose? ‘Rickety Kate’ (Minnie Filson) no longer ‘anonymous'

Try parsnips in a vegetable soup. Kids love it but turn their noses up at roast parsnips. Add some curry powder to the soup
Have always loved it, all types.

Love parsnips too - in fact love most veg.
God NO, vile stuff! Never eat it now.

Love all types of cabbage, and drink the water with pepper.

I like cabbage and you can always make things with it like bubble and squeak which might be more palatable.
I'll eat cabbage sprinkled with vinegar.
I like roast parsnips. Parsnips were used as a substitute for bananas in the 2nd W.W.
Strange. My wife likes bananas but can't stand parsnips.
