Oh Dear!
Paddy got a new job as an errand boy at the big house near to where he lived.
His first errand, he was asked to go and buy a 2lb bag of sugar.
At the shop he could only find 1lb bags so he returned empty handed to the big house.
The lady of the house was furious, "why did you not think and buy two 1lb bags???" She ranted.
"Two 1lb bags equals one 2lb bag!!!"
For his next errand, he was asked to buy a pair of slippers for the Lady's mother, a size 6.
At the shoe shoe, they and no size six, but they had plenty of size 3. So he bought 2 pairs of the size 3!
Paddy is looking for his next job!
