Mine was a local charity that rescued German Shepherd dogs but it has now closed down due to neighbourhood complaints about noise. We had two GSD's from them and they were so wonderful and precious. Now, it's Dog Trust. I sponsor three dogs. When one dies, I get another one.
League Against Cruel Sports
Marie Curie
Macmillan
and Breast Cancer awareness
Bolton Hospice, despite my Husband never actually attending they were a big support to me after he died.

I’m glad they were a comfort to you Mamya
Thank you.x
MIND for us (big help when needed).
'The Hinge'. It is local to Bridlington and aims at helping people who find themselves homeless (we had 15 people sleeping on the beach not long ago - they aim for somewhere nicer than mid-Bradford, Leeds or Sheffield). Their other arm is a centre where the disaffected or clueless are helped into mainstream life. We have a box in church where we leave things like instant meals (just add water and microwave!)
Once there was an elderly couple who (through horrible circumstances) lost their home. They were rehomed in a flat and everyone chipped in pans etc., etc . to set them up with the basics.
Very dear to my heart - it can happen to anyone. Many are ex-servicemen.

I’ve never been in a hospice to visit but I’m told they are a place of amazing comfort to those spending time with their loved ones
Our local hospice, The Dogs Trust, Cats protction, our local animal sanctuary, and our local hawk and owl trust which is less than a mile away.
The one I work for. My co workers do amazing work in very stressful situations, helping-mostly very lost-young souls. It's heart breaking sometimes to see so many young people who've fallen into addiction or crime...every tiny success deserves celebration.

So many kind and giving people pasta x
I give to a few bobbisox but mine would be the Blind Children - oh the water running down their eyes just melts me right through. I know some of the money goes to admin but hopefully some gets through to the kids.

I get too upset with animals sancturaries that when the adverts come up for them I automatically switch off. Breaks my heart.

And I also physically feed the homeless because I'm, unsure they get the help, food and clothes that they should be getting.
I hope nobody puts Samaritans or Help for Heroes, or a certain ABer will be down on them like a ton bricks, judging by what happened with a similar post a few weeks ago.
None. They are all scams. People creaming money off gullable members of the public, of which there are many, it seems.
^^gullible^^
