I bet I'm not alone here, I was one of the "lucky" generation who haven't witnessed war but the way things are going in my countryy I fear for my grandchildren from the enemy within, What has happened in Luton is making people want to join BNP, but if they dare to voice their opinion.....what then, I wish this bloody Goverment would get some backbone....enough is enough!!!

to Mani H, the Sherman, SK news, here is a nice little easy question:
What is you like about living in Britain?

Question Author
yes ofcause Red, if I did not put that into my text then I am sorry.
Paraffin you stay wherever you want an incorrect post on a website wont matter what country you send it from.

Its quite simple the British have been responsible for some of the biggest war crimes ever committed to any nation that fell in its path!

Now we invade countries for no reason other than oil and lie about it. You say we have to 'teach' them democracy...
teach them as in teach a dog that has misbehaved for instance?

You lable entire civilizations on this site as backwards or evil yet we have had less than 10 terror attacks in last 10 years. Compared to the IRA the muslim population (sic) are quite peaceful! - I take it you hate the Irish as well?
otherwise you are a terrible hypocrite!
you then complain about them using freedom of speech whilst also complain at their freedom of speech?
What do you actually want?

You don't think protestors should throw insults at the troops?

Who do you think killed those 100,000 civillians?

Santa?
Late in the conversation here but Mani Hussein - I think you will find that the Afghans are also being killed by the Taliban... and recently documented on TV the majority of Afghans support the presence of our troops since we have helped them build and repair infrastructure and farm crops. The majority do not like nor support the Taliban
Question Author
What would you like them to do Mani? say No to their "bosses" they join the army to take orders, please explain to me where you stand about the Taliban? and paraffin is just putting his/her pont across and I have not suspected any racial undertones in there, why would you?
I absolutely love Britain and from what I've seen there isn't a place in the world I would rather live.

I love the countryside the NHS the football, the People the high wages, the absoutely amazing standard of living, the strongest passport in the world.... need anymore?
Question Author
No I do not Jake, soldiers in combat will kill...under orders from their Goverment, why are you blaming the soldiers?
Question Author
well thank you for your point Sherman, I admire your honesty then

Question Author
You take an oath to the realm when joining the British Forces Mani and if what you are suggesting you would do, there wouldn't be an army, they would have commited treason then what would you do if we were invaded? still the Taliban Qs for you to debate with me though
Joy, I live in Sweden. The English can be quite uncivilised at times and seem to enjoy killing people, particularly foreigners. Your country is not looked on very favourably by a modern society like ours, why are the English so aggressive? Why do you always celebrate killing your fellow human beings.

Soren.
Do you similarly attack the Bible/Christians for it's/their attitudes to gays, or is that okay?

Never known them to threaten to inflict such horrible punishment on gays, as that threatened by the Muslims.
Yes Mani.. and then make your family back hom living in army accomodation all homeless and children homeless and then have no income to support your kids. They signed up to the army to protect and fight for their country.
Irrelevant of which war they are fighting - perhaps we should have let Hitler win eh... cos morally they didnt want to kill a human being - albeit the enemy.
Perish the thought.. lets all just lie down and be taken over by whoever chooses to.
The soldiers are the front line - they are doing a job... I doubt you would be man enough to live with and do what they do. Perhaps you are better off sat typing away at your desk. Perhaps we are all better off that you are typing away at your desk.. I wouldnt want you to be out there fighting for our country
With regards to the 'gay' question AOG ( thank you btw for the very nice things you said to me on another thread, that's genuinely very much appreciated:), you might be interested to know that after we ( the allied forces that is) liberated the concentration camps after WWII, we let everyone go, except those who were there for being gay. What did we do with them you might ask? We transported them and kept them incarcerated for, in some instances, another ten years. Wonderful, how selective we can be when it suits us.
Thats scandalous ObNoxious! But not too surprising!
I heard recently that the SAS caught Bin Laden... as asked to by the Americans... and then were told not to kill him but to hand him over to the US troops.. and then amazingly Bin Laden escaped!!!
Not sure how true - but if it is it makes you wonder who is pushing the buttons in this war and for what purpose!
I dont agree with the war in Irag or Afghan... but I also dont think the soldiers should be treated with such hatred and contempt. That is disgusting!
Too much hatred in this world! Too much!
Need to spread the lurve more eh!

Sweden is a neutral country and I don't think we are aggressive, but for someone living in a neutral enviroment like Sweden, I suppose it is easy for you to point the finger, you don't have to see your countrymen coming home in bodybags, their only crime, they were trying to protect people thousands of miles from home from eveil regimes
The Sherman: Please do not misquote me, i.e where, in my replies did I state that "we have to teach them democracy"??? I've made no such claim.

Mani H: I've stated facts about Islam, i.e. that women cannot vote/get an education/go to a mosque to worship, that homosexuals and adulterers are beheaded, and you accuse me of "attacking Islam" and stating me of having "racial undertone to your views". Like I've already said, YOU are the one in denial if you think that what I've pointed out is inaccurate.

Are we not allowed to impart facts about another culture without being accused of racism? THAT is exactly my point!!!!!!!! WE in the UK CAN express points of view, we are allowed to state facts without prejudice, but there are other cultures where such freedom is DENIED! Iraq and Afghanistan come into this latter category. Irrefutible fact!!!!!!!!!!!! And such facts do not make me racist!

And no, The Sherman, I do NOT complain about people exercising their right to freedom of speech otherwise I would no be living in the UK.

However, our Laws are also aimed at protecting our citiizens against hate-filled, racist rants as opposed to peaceful protest. There is a massive difference between the two!!!!!

As I've already said, and this is something both Mani and Sherman have IGNORED, what would have happened had those squaddies, who were loudly harangued and abused, gone to a mosque and had acted in a similar manner?
