Hello , well I was wondering when to brave the supermarket and do the christmas shop and my son and I have decided to plan our attack for this afternoon . So hope we manage to find things still on the shelves and that I can manage to get round without being knocked over or run over . :-D xxx
if you have a tesco then Id say about 6/7am tomorrow. Hopefully the shelves would be stacked and fresh bread and milk in.
Its never a good time though is it lol
Lol redcrx , come to think of it my elbows could be quite a weapon :-D As for going in a morning ....my son doesn't surface that early , hee . xxx
Good luck tomorrow Patricia :-) xxx
Morning Mamma - I find early in the morning on the weekends to be best, the supermarkets are less crowded. Many people like to lie in because they are off from work. Also the shelves are well stocked then. Have fun shopping. xx
I have no room in my freezer, the fridge is too small to stock up and my kitchen resembles a building site!
Hopefully I will get some bargains. Either that or Christmas lunch will be egg on toast ;o) Luckily our 'real' crimbo dinner will be on Boxing Day at my parents house.
Morning figure , Quoi , and Pippa , I have a huge fridge/freezer to say I live on my own , so there will be room to store the bits my son and I will buy. :-) xxx
Noooooo dont do it!! if you want to beat the rush as best u can go in the morning i was at asda when it opened at 730am yesterday & it was lovely & peaceful! came out at about 9 & it was chaotic! having said that ive still got fresh stuff to get & am well known for my impatience & trolley rage!!
Well I had said about going late tonight when everyone else is in the pubs. It wouldnt matter my daughter having a late night as its the hols now but now we're both poorly I really dont feel like it! But I know if I dont do it tonight, knowing my luck, I will be feeling even more poorly tomorrow and regret not having gone and got it done.
Hi bigmamma,
I hope your feeling a bit better.
My son and I also are going to brave the shops shortly,I dont drive so he comes in pretty handy!
good luck
christine xx
Psychick sweets , do take it slower love , and I am so sorry you are not well , I know the shopping has to be done though so I hope you will be ok , though you are obviously tired . I have just got back in , we did most of our shop , just fresh meat and milk to get nearer the time. We circled the car park a bit before finding a spot , a bit easier seeing as I have a Blue Badge . Then we went to look at some cars as my son is wanting to change his . :-) xxx
