Retrocop 17.18"Sadly he is to thick to take it all in and realise what a fool he looks" ..Retro.. If you want to look at a fool it's quite simple ..just look into a mirror.🤣

NJ at 16.26 has utterly, and funnily, destroyed Gulliver.

An awful lot of companies trade with debt - debt is a cheaper way of borrowing and it's tax efficient, but I wouldn't expect you to understand why.

D.D 17.45 Oh dear.. here come the Cavalary a little late aren't you.

Not happy with gulliver. When he was attacking the majority Tory Brexiteers down in England i was backing him to the hilt. When i was attacking the majority SNP Brexiteers up here in Scotland he was nowhere to be seen.Any reply gulliver?

YNNAFYMMI, "When i was attacking the majority SNP Brexiteers..."

There was not a majority of SNP voters who voted for Brexit.

29% of SNP voters voted for Brexit,27% of Scottish Tory voters voted for Brexit,19% of Scottish Labour voters voted for Brexit...looks like the SNP are the main voters for Brexit up here in Scotland,TCL.

That's a very unusual definition of 'majority', miffy

Maybe New Judge could give us a para or two on the subject.

NMA,the SNP has about 3 million voters voting for them, that equates to about 870,000 of their voters voting for Brexit. The Scottish Tories have about a million voters voting for them ,that equates to about 270,000 voting for Brexit. The Scottish Labour Party have about 800,000 voters voting for them, that accounts for about 155,000 of them voting for Brexit.Seems to me that 870,000 beats 470,000 every time.Unless you know different.

"@16.26.You and i arent friends NJ,.."

Of course we are, ynnafymmi. We just don't see eye to eye on a number of topics, that all.

One of the trademarks of a civilised society is the ability to disagree but still remain on good terms. I disagree with many of my best friends - one or two of them quite strongly. But we have our disagreements and then share a pint or three in the pub (often Wetherspoons! 😊). After which we usually cannot remember what we were arguing over 😀.

You and I have had our disagreements but I'd like to think I've remained polite (if a little robust). I can certainly say the same of you and that's what matters. What I don't like is being called an idiot or worse and being told I had been "radicalised" simply for holding a different point of view. That's when I get the hump.

"Maybe New Judge could give us a para or two on the subject."

I couldn't in all honestly, duggie because as far as I can recall, those voting in the referendum were not asked which political party they vote for. So really, any views on (say) how many of those who voted for Brexit support the SNP is simply speculation.

@18.47.We are all good friends on AB i would think NJ,we all have different points of view.Best wishes for the New Year from me.

I'm sure all agree that your response is measured and fair, as usual, NJ.

Perhaps the spokesperson for Ugandan fish processors has the facts and figures to hand though. They must exist somewhere, surely. 😂

Nigerian fish processors,Duggie.By the way what a lot of space you have inside your head.Loving it.

You need to expand your repertoire pet.

Mind now Duggie,no more taking "strokes"while thinking about me.Bad boy.

Online bromide, right there.
