all i can see and read is britian has a virus, great mne and women past ans preset with repose, are amongst, people in this england who despise our culture history ways etc, and to say diversity is a good thing is a lie.

No-o: the last I heard they had detained 150 people attached to the protest who broke away late on and tried to cause trouble. Just as they did with the other lot earlier.  There were illegal chants? A lot of offensive stuff, from both sides, but not sure there were any Hamas flags, if that if what you mean, although they were looking for two people wearing Hamas headgear.

I'm just trying to get at what actually happened, for there is a lot of tosh spouted.

Well the peace march did not impress me and there isn't a snowflake in hells chance it would make any difference to the people of israel.

There are people that seem disappointed that armistice day went peacefully.

I am not sure if jaw-jaw should ever be against the law...

seditious libel - now replaced by Terrorism Act 2009

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seditious_libel

.

saying the King is a ming may well not be liable

but saying the King should not be king anymore may well transgress the act, and I REALLY thought we had got beyond that

I have of course in mind the Sacheverell  ( Sir - who?) Riots of 1710 - which er kicked off when an old woman threw her stool at preacherman Dr Sacheverell ( er she was sitting on a wooden bench) as she did not  like what he was saying. HE got prosecuted for o god knows what - sedition

Crap gag Peter, you must be pooped. 😄

Good old Tommeh. Thank god he's out of prison again until the next time.

royfromaus 17:35 Sat. Thanks for putting up those shocking pictures, they say it all.

You asked for a response from AH but a response came there none.

If there were any really genuinely non Jew haters on that march they would have left it pronto so as not to be associated with those sentiments.

'Show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are.'

nothing from AH following roy's pictures....what a suprise.

300,000 on the march.

* 1% of that would be 3,000

* 0.1% would be 300

* 0.01% would be 30

How many unpleasant placards or actions were there? How many arrests? (of the marchers, not the "counter-protesters", who had over 100 arrested)

Pick the crumbs out of the photos if you wish. Nobody disputes that a tiny percentage of protesters were Hamas supporters. Nobody disputes that a lot of people didn't go on the march because of concerns about what could have happened.

Despite that, the march was massive and made its point peacefully. In that sense it was a success.

And, because or despite the march, the Israeli military has agreed to help evacuate babies from Gaza's Al-Shifa hospital to a safer facility ... which, better late than never, is fantastic.

Ellipsis, //..Nobody disputes that a tiny percentage of protesters were Hamas supporters....//

Not true, I do. There were far more than a tiny %.  I have now watched several clips of the "hate" march & it was teeming with banners stating and implying as such.

Your 'statistics' are based purely on your own fantasy & prejudices.

If you don't believe me, Khandro,  try your favourite newspaper (and not mine) the Daily Express, Khandro:

Why can't I find any vids of people saying...

Take that sign down, it's disgusting

or

Stop chanting that it's disgusting.

?

How should I know, Roy? Perhaps for similar reasons to why some anti-protesters didn't stop other ones getting arrested ...

Angry right wing mob storming a national treasure in the name of protecting it, injuring police... All rather reminiscent of something

There were a lot of unsavoury banners on the march; one in particular caught on camera depicted a Star of David merged with a swastika. Hard to imagine anything more offensive, and the person holding it was identified as a member of the Eastbourne CLP. If true she should be expelled immediately

Difficult tho to go round telling people not to wave offensive material. There are only so many police and if so many are occupied dealing with violent thugs then it's even harder

The police are behaving like useful idiots pussyfooting around the pro-Palestinian demonstrators in order to minimise social division.  That's why they're ignoring cries for jihad and for the destruction of Israel and that's why they're tearing down posters of Israelis, including children, held hostage by Hamas.  They don't seem to have any reservations in upsetting the Jews, perhaps because there are fewer of them and they don't shout so loudly.

Ellipsis ; What you refer to as my "favourite news paper" (???)
