Now an advisor to Keir Starmer, Peter Mandelson, a key architect of Tony Blair's New Labour, has urged his student not to give too much power to trade unions if he wins the next election.

Should he tell Angela Rayner, who has pledged to give unions new rights?

The POD is correct of course but that may well sow division between Rodders and the GOAS.

Perhaps they should campaign with the Slogan, "The Tories are scum, vote Labour we are nice".

The denial is morphing into panic.

GOAS ...... "Going On As Sensational" 🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂lol

Canary, If you intend voting Labour, what do you expect them to do?  They don't seem to know so they can't tell you.

//The POD is correct of course but that may well sow division between Rodders and the GOAS.//

It has already been shown that their are divisions between the leader and deputy. She has been excluded recently in some policy meetings and accidentally barged into one.She was not happy.

typo.  There not their

Well she's the sop to the loony left like Thumper was in Bambi's day.

The Tories on here are in panic....easily spotted...when they know they ae losing and get stumped for words, they then  turn to insults like children in the playground..🤣

gulliver, why don't you be the grown up here and have a go at answering my question to Canary?

Mandy is a strange choice of bedfellow.  I really cant see why Sir would want to associate with him, or Blair for that matter.  Not only does it casue friction in the Party but also the pair are really not liked in the floating voter groups - and that is all that counts here not any party faithful of any colour.

With some of the things Sir Kier has come out with recently it really does seem he doesnt really want to win.  Bizzare.

And I see Lady Nugee is sticking her oar in, white van mans fave woman!

// Should he tell Angela Rayner, who has pledged to give unions new rights? //

Premumably she has heard it like everyone else. If you run the country well and don't drive the economy over a cliff, industrial relations tend to be OK. Presiding over a cost of living crisis is the quickest way to lose a general election.

Gulliver.

//when they know they ae losing and get stumped for words, they then  turn to insults like children in the playground..🤣er.//

Why do these words remind me so much of you.

Naomi 14.11 .Stop getting all worked up into panick. You asked Canary the question Not Gulliver.

Question Author

I've asked you too, Gulliver.

There are lots subjects keir starmer will need to avoid if he wants to get elected such as trans rights, net zero, Israel. Those on the left of his party are totally opposite on those subjects to the general public but he needs to keep them happy so he says nowt.

Well she's the sop to the loony left like Thumper was in Bambi's day.

well ! the POD really has gone foo-foo in that GOAS!

Has the Employment Act 1979 REALLY been shown to be unworkable ?

ss99-108 ( I think) were rendered  unworkable by the omission of the word 'reasonable' so it concerned 'any employer'. And any employer included ( the judges said) a few crazies. This made the sections unusable....( this comment is not 'too rich' for AB is it  ?)

Mandelson is a slimeball and well fitted to the task of pushing the glittery one up the greasy pole.
