Says Kier Starmer repeatedly in his speech to the CBI - someone tell him it won't be his by the time of the next general election. But if you are having trouble sleeping just listen to his speech - he has got to be the most boring public speaker on the circuit.

"someone tell him it won't be his by the time of the next general election."

Why's that then?
I don't think they'll get rid of him - he may not be the ideal leader but they'd be struggling to find someone better. (though Andy Burnham has been touted but he's not an MP)
Rodders will fight and lose the next election and then be replaced to join the long list of labour leaders to fail to win an election.
I think Rachel reeves would be a good bet to lead the labour party.
being back Abacus and Cobstello!
Ahhh...I see.
I cant see him being replaced, the labour Party will be well aware of the turmoil in the CINO Party and will want to avoid a similar spat.

He isnt the best speaker, cant see too many after dinner speeches for him when he goes.
I think an awful lot of voters are sick to the back teeth of ‘interesting’ politicians.

Give us a boring technocrat over an incompetent idealolog!
I would rather someone proves himself by what he says, rather than by the way he says it.
For that position you need to be able to do both.

You dont win people to your side by sending them to sleep. At the same time though you dont want a 'Boris' either.
