One Tory MP who served as a minister under Boris Johnson has told Sky News: "Liz is f*****."
"She is taking on markets and the Bank of England.
"Her, Kwasi, Philp and Simon [McGee] are playing A-level economics with people's lives. You cannot have monetary policy and fiscal policy at loggerheads. Something has to give."
The source also claimed moves to trigger a vote of no confidence in Ms Truss's leadership were already underway:

Because there are imminent crises that need addressing post haste but the government don’t have the nouse, wherewithal nor backing of their own backbenchers even.

what would be the point in sending no confidence letters? if the tory party had a new leadership election tomorrow or next month then what makes anybody think there would be a different result?
the MPs chose to let her through to the final and the party membership chose her... what reason is there to think they would choose differently?
i do not care for Truss at all but she is doing exactly what she said she would... if the tories are upset then they really need to pay more attention to the leaders that they foist upon the rest of us!!!

I seriously doubt that they reckoned she’d beat Sunak.
Schoolboy error though, they forgot that those making the final choice were predominantly in the 50+ demographic and aren’t overly keen on seeing ethnic minorities getting the actual top job.
They’ve caused their own implosion.

It’s obvious that regardless of him being Hindu not Muslim that his skin colour wouldn’t be acceptable to members in the final vote.
