I don't mean your AB name. I mean your real name?

I quite like mine. I liked it even more when my mother told me what the alternatives were?

And what about names you got lumbered with through marriage. I bet there are some hilarious stories out there...

Yeah, quite happy with my name. Would've liked one or two middle names though. Still enjoy a chuckle at Bradley in this episode of The Chase ....Priceless

TTT, you just made me laugh put loud because you reminded me of my late nan who could remember anyone's name and I often got called Rocky or Jasper, or even Pauline, Liz or Joyce! I got called "son" once.
nah, i prefer my middle name. Even more so now my name means something different than just a name.
i was glad to shed my maiden name as those who could spell it couldnt pronounce it, and those who could pronounce it couldnt spellit
Really though Anthony is smooth, not pronounced with the f sound in the middle

Arky :-)
My married name is quite common :0)
I neither like nor dislike my name. It's a bit out of the ordinary, but it hasn't caused me any bother. My mother said, when I asked her why I had the name, that my father looked in the Radio Times to see what was on the radio, and he saw that a pianist was performing. "That's a nice name," he said, "we'll call him that." And that was that.

I used to work with this Indian Guy who's name was so long that he used just 3 initials LVC and that was how he was known but once Chinese whispers had taken effect everyone thought his name was Elvis! (Say LVC.....)!

It's usually the Sri Lankans who have stupidly long names.

Mrs Sirimavo Bandaranaike had no problems with people pronouncing her name. Spelling might have been another matter...
I don't mind my name...it's better than the other 2 choices my mum had...Maureen or Priscilla. Nooo!
My maiden name is the name of a village near where ex and I bought our first house in Bedfordshire. That impressed me.
