Even the politicians now have to admit they got it all wrong and Farage says it’s not the Brexit the electorate voted for, or certainly not the one presented and promised.

Meanwhile, Europe is basking gloriously in those Sunny Uplands.

better order another ship load of sour grapes for the 5C.
naomi, that can't be right surely the EUSSR is surging ahead!
gromit: "I was in a bar in Manchester tonight, with a load of brits who live abroad (EU, America, far East) and all of them said we had fecked up massively. " - you mean a load of people who hate their own country so much that they don't even live in it think brexit was a bad choice? Nooo! I'd be more concerned if they didn't spit bile from abroad. Anyway gromit what were they all doing here if it's such a disaster?
// better order another ship load of sour grapes for the 5C //

Grapes will need to be imported just making the trade deficit worse though, unless maybe we can export some sovereignty to make up for it.
Nice one, archi.
At least one person is willing to admit that they got it wrong; but then Mrs NJ makes an appearance towards the end of the video clip.

//Grapes will need to be imported//

Not any more. Our wine trade is on the up.

//Britain’s wine industry is booming. With record-breaking harvests and doubled sales last year, the British wine industry has quietly become one of the fastest-growing in the world.//

// the one you were reluctant to name for what became obvious reasons. Okay. Thanks.//

I dont want to name the newspaper. The reasons are so obvious I wont state them. ( so no one knows what they are)

Only exacerbated by your meaningless drivel, PP.
"I was in a bar in Manchester tonight, with a load of brits who live abroad (EU, America, far East) and all of them said we had fecked up massively. "

o god poor things - what were they doing marooned oop t North. At least the rounds were cheaper
As a remoaner, it’s not sour grapes causing me to post about Brexit – but the blindingly obvious facts of what an absolute disaster it is for the UK – which Brexiteers refuse to acknowledge.

I wonder how many Brexiteers would have voted leave if they knew that as a direct result of Brexit, by mid 2022 the UK economy would be down by over £30 billion.
// Not any more. Our wine trade is on the up. //

That article has stats from 2018 before the new post Brexit trade "deal" was in place, hopefully we now export more to the rest of the world as exports to the EU will certainly be down.

// all you 5Cers can cherry pick stats out of context to support your failed arguments to your heart's content it wont change anything. You lost move on. //

Hardly about the result of the vote any more, the world still turns after we exited the EU and things like trade are somewhat important if one cares about how Britain is going to fare in future. It's not all bad but to not discuss the downsides because it might offend Brexit voters is ludicrous.
This from 2 months ago, and all good news, archibaldy.... but don't let it get you down. ;o)

Yes, it was a big mistake in my view canary hymie etc... but it is what it is, what's the point of going on and on and on about it trying to get people to say' yeah I was dumb I got it wrong'... not gonna happen, totally pointless... like it or not we're out , end of!
I can see heavy rain and thunder storms ,hovering over those Sunlit Uplands.

Big trouble is ,the rest of Europe do not trust the UK any longer, after the Chaos Boris has caused.
