A prime minister who was unequal to the crises he faced... a man who was never suitable for leadership elevated and rewarded eagerly by opportunistic short-sighted tories... he has seriously damaged this country and so have all his supporters.

the spider that is the conservative party will grow a new head it is what it isssssssssss
//The Conservatives urgently need a new leader who can unify the party.//

Boris seems to have unified the party (at least the parliamentary party)! They just didn't have the wit or the guts to stick with him.
There is much to dislike Thatcher for but her corpse has more leadership in it than Boris Johnson does alive...
I am surprised he held on this long - but he is still a lame duck PM
//rewarded eagerly by opportunistic short-sighted tories..//

That'll be all those Tories that have been trying to heave him out then eh?

Well never mind, as GRomit says - A Bad day for Labour.
Stableford, yes I too am sorry to see him go. A man of many talents and many fatal flaws.
I saw the cat sat outside this morning. Has he resigned too lol!?
diddly; "TTT is clearly suffering from amnesia. I thought he thought that awful Thatcher was the best PM ever. " - I said "this century" - try reading what I wrote.
i like the cat
even Sajid Javid said in his personal statement yesterday that he had given Johnson a lot of chances.

Why? They all knew what kind of person he was in the 2019 election and chose him over candidates who were better. He should not have been given one chance, let alone twenty!
I believe he has done a lot of good for the country but now is the right time to go although it should have been 2 days ago when his top ministers resigned.
he is very talented on panel shows. Or he was 20 years ago...

not a great reason to select a PM though...
// best PM this century //

I doubt that is how he will be remembered by history.
Well he has gone now so why harp on.

Look forward to the future, hopefully of a proper Conservative Government not a liberal green wishwash.
//I doubt that is how he will be remembered by history.//

I am sure with time he will be remembered as the person who stood up to undemocratic liberal elites and implemented the will of the people.

That is quite some achievement to be proud of.
Lol, hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth from the Borstriches!
As ever, they fail to realise it’s all Johnson’s own doing and he is being ousted by a tsunami of 5C lefty, traitorous poltroons…..from the Conservative Party! PMSL
Not a dry et in the house! LMAO.
must be a momentous occasion, Kay Burley is out of the studio in Downing St!
Best PM this century? We’re not even a quarter of the way into it yet! Lol.
*dry eye not et
Stableford 9.22 you are not the only one.

I hope and pray Gove doesn't take over.
