JRM Is to be investigated by Parliaments Watchdog . After he failed to declare a £6 million loan from a
Cayman Islands linked Co he needed the money he said for his house refurb and temporary cash flow.
.....thats some sort of refurb ..and a hell of a cash flow problem. Will this Tory Sleaze ever go away for poor Boris, he get's the blame for everything .....That goes wrong.,, is that because he ain't got anything right yet.

..........."And another bites the Dust"........
Douglas Ross leader of the Tory Party in Scotland failed to declare his earnings as a football match official and other earnings, involved as a MSP.
Mozz, why because he has a plummy voice and comes over well. I like him too, and think he would make a fine PM.
Because he seems to have an air of self importance about him which rubs me up the wrong way. He also seems to be someone with zero idea how the common man lives. I think he would be a great PM if you're in the top 5% of the countries wealthiest, not so much for the rest of us.
Well done Mark Harper keep making them feel uncomfortable.

people like this shuldnt be given the vote

hi Gully - you tory - killa !
any scalps overnight?
I wouldn't want him for PM.
He has a plummy voice and therefore is judged as being privileged, self important. Many people have plummy voices and are normal working people. He went to private school -this gives pupils confidence, they do public speaking and debating, to make it easier for them later in their careers.
This is the same as judging someone from Liverpool or Newcastle as thick because they have a regional accent , or every cockney must have market stall or drive a Taxi. He may be 'posh' to some, but I think more people would trust him to represent the UK than the blond baffoon we have at the moment.

I don't. I think the public can relate to Boris, whereas they can't with JRM.
I couldn't give a damn about how his voice sounds, rather than the words that come from his mouth. Whether his seemingly high faluting image is genuine or whether it's an act, I wouldn't know, but he comes across as someone living in a different world to the average person. Out of touch with the reality of everyday living.
I don't believe it's an act. I think he does live in a different world and is out of touch with the reality of everyday living.
We're in complete agreement on a political matter Naomi. Maybe Rees Mogg has a future career as a mediator?
I wouldn't trust him to be good at it.
What odds on Britain's third female Prime Minister sporting a red rosette? This one though doesn't wear those awful boots.I think she might have been there already if hadn't been for all those numpties who voted for Corbyn.
crazy stuff - a pleasure to read
his main sin is to transfer all his family loolah to Dublin just before Brexit

on the grounds of " I wanna keep my moolah" - and there he is schmoozing on the floor of the house of commons
I think it will be a long time before any future Prime Minister wears a red rosette.
Who are you talking about Grumpy?
// What odds on Britain's third female Prime Minister sporting a red.....//

you mean Carrie? - just writing to keep in with the craziness of this thread....
I agree JRM lives in a different world -as does Boris -or do we all pay £9800 for a sofa or £3000 for an occasional table? Boris comes from the same world as JRM, the only difference is Boris has nurtured his 'persona' to try and conjure up empathy with the common people. Its well-known he rumples his hair and tie before interviews, it's all an act. I think 'what you see is what you get' with JRM. I'd rather judge someone, negatively or positively, on their true personality, not one devised by the PR department.
// Its well-known he rumples his hair and tie before interviews,//

Not that well known. I tend to keep up with the news but I've never heard that. Both JRM and Boris went to Eton but they're poles apart.
