// 6546 GB adults surveyed // 6546 Is in fact a very high sample size in a poll. Election polls are usually between 1,000 and 2,000. GB adults surveyed seems to imply no polling was done in Northern Ireland, the region which has been most affected (and voted remain). A proper survey would probably show even more dis satisfaction.

Sanmac I read that article too. Didn't bother to post a link as the strains of Rule Britannia on AB at the moment are overwhelming ;-)
APG, I’ve told you before you know nothing about me.
gromit: "I believe it is inevitable that eventually we will ask to rejoin. " - ahh one of your famous predictions, remember in July.. "we'll be in lockdown again after 6 weeks"? How did that go?

AuntPG, stop baiting.
I'm not baiting, I'm replying.
I don't know anyone under 40 that voted leave. Why would we, I could go work where I wanted in Europe. Seems to me its old people with plenty of money that voted leave. Its not gonna effect them much and we have to live with the consequences.

Apparently there is talk amongst the back benchers and in the corridors of Parliament that the Tories might even have write into their next manifesto a promise of a referendum to try and rejoin the E/U... in their desperate struggle to get re/elected at the next G/E....
We will never rejoin the eu and labour will never again be in power.
Where did you read that Gulliver?
//I don't know anyone under 40 that voted leave.//

I do. Quite a number, in fact.

//Why would we,...//

You need to give it some proper thought. I can't really help you there.

//I could go work where I wanted in Europe.//

Where were you thinking of? You can still go to work in most places. Difference is you have to fill in a form first and get permission. They might not want you, though, if you've nothing to offer."

//Seems to me its old people with plenty of money that voted leave.//

I think you'll find people of all levels of wealth voted to leave.

//Its not gonna effect them much...//

It's effected me. I've got to renew my passport earlier than I otherwise would. Outrageous!

//...and we have to live with the consequences.//

Poor things. You'll get over it, though, believe me.

Will Boris's flagship policy at the next G/E Be.. "Lets get Brexit undone"..
// Where were you thinking of? You can still go to work in most places. Difference is you have to fill in a form first and get permission. They might not want you, though, if you've nothing to offer."//

and who do you think you are? some retired old codger no doubt? The work I do, requires certification and an education to PHd level. Certification which is no longer recognised now the UK is out of the EU.
I think this poll is about as reliable as the polls that said Remain would romp home in 2016!

Can't wait for Christmas and see all the turkeys that voted for it.
15:54: "Apparently there is talk amongst the back benchers and in the corridors of Parliament that the Tories might even have write into their next manifesto a promise of a referendum to try and rejoin the E/U... in their desperate struggle to get re/elected at the next G/E.... " - in cloud cuckoo land no doubt! PMSL! we will never rejoin the EUSSR, even if we wanted to their demands would be punitive. The Tories are in no danger whatsoever of losing the next election. Even mid term mid crisis Rodders can't hit a barn door and your lunatic fringe hang around his neck like 10 ton weight.
gulliver read your own figures, 32% very badly. So in spite of all the doom and gloom you've been spouting, all the things that have been going wrong according to your twisted logic, not even a third of the country thinks it's gone badly.
16.04 Its pointless arguing with people who are comfortably off in retirement. My friend is a veterinarian. She was working in Spain but has had to come back as UK veterinary degrees are no longer automatically recognised in EU Member States.
The work I do, requires certification and an education to PHd level.

So you have a doctorate. Well done.
