not to do with Brexit, more to do with covid i suspect. have you a link
This is called shooting oneself in the foot Nafy..... Good.
Can't find anything online about Tim Martin saying this. There are a few Wetherspoon's pubs that are currently out of Coors and Carling in south London but it was Wetherspoon's spokesperson Eddie Gershon who commented about that.

99% to do with Brexit. along with the empty super market shelves. best start getting used to it you Brexiteers.

there is nothing in MSN or BBC news on this story, where did you get the info from Ynnafymmi
i don't see any empty shelves in my local supermarket, nor do i believe that Tim Martin would make these so called comments, its a crock.
The whole of Europe is suffering from a shortage of lorry drivers, especially Poland, the UK and Germany - if the UK shortage is due to Brexit where have they all gone? https://www.globalcoldchainnews.com/driver-shortage-is-pan-european/
//99% to do with Brexit//

I wonder if Europeans are saying the same about their transport problems?
Cross-posted barry.
Wetherspoons got a £48 Million loan but still treated its staff appallingly during lockdown.
Even so, it managed to make a £34 Million loss last year.

Its pubs were an innovation when the company started, but now several chains have copied the formula and doing it better.
brexit my April!
Large breweries are facing shortages of ingredients such as malt and hops. So production is down.
I assume they are rationing deliveries. Wetherspoons paid a lot of suppliers late during the lockdown, so it used up all the good will of its supply chain.

Good to see Spoons has solved his staffing problem.

do you have a Spoons in your village gully?

I doubt it
But as long as gully is there the village certainly is not short of one thing ! Lol
Think it will get worse before it starts to improve.
Hope they get things sorted before Xmas in the UK .

You oliver will never admit that you've made a mistake in blaming everything on brexit. Stop being obsessed with brexit, Boris and booze. Oh and by the way, we never shot youself in the foot or anywhere else.
I see a new type of Brexit christmas cracker has been designed for the Uk.
Pull the cracker and nothing falls out. PMSL.
