no idea, its way too early to accuse him of anything, however 20 people coming forward so that doesn't look good for him.
what i found amazing, was that he denied all wrong doing, then said that he would be seeking help for his behaviour. very strange
I think his acting days are numbered. He's a total creep.
certainly seems as though this may curtail his career, mud sticks as they say.

He's a middle-aged man, a writer and director as well as a lead actor, lauded with accolades, so he is powerful, and behaviours that were acceptable, 20-25 years ago are not now.
I really liked him as an actor but it's not looking good.
seems that way, he's not that old is he?
45 so i guess he is middle aged... seems a terrible shame if he is guilty of these claims.
I don't think they were acceptable years ago, it's just that since 'me too' more and more women are coming forward to report inappropriate behaviour.

You're right, acceptable was a poor choice of words, "accepted and not reported"?
yes I thought well innocent until proven until he started talking about getting help and the "going to bed" acting exercises. also saying "no-one had to participate" was a huge red flag to me!
I wonder what his wife is thinking.
heading for the divorce court maybe...
Ok so what I don’t get is why NOW after all this time do so many allegations come to light.

Yes perhaps he IS a lecherous predator type ....

However .... as women.... we have always had to deal with this sort of man.

Unfortunately!!!

It doesn’t make it right - but it’s the way of the world and the best way to deal with a man like this is to either avoid him (not always possible in a work scenario of course!) or firmly and politely put him in his place

I realise many women (and some men) will disagree with me but as a woman I just think it’s one of the sort of things our gender will always have to deal with.

Rape is of course an entire different saga and THAT is inexcusable

Jesus H Christ. No one know where they stand nowadays. Touch someones arm and you could be arrested for common assault.

Why aren't we teaching our children to stand up for themselves. Touch me inappropriately you'd get a slap....there and then, with lots of swear words.
Well done Eve for putting your head above the parapet. My questions are; why now? And why the papers rather than the police?
Exactly ummmmmm
according to the news 7 more women have come forward... that's not good -
the police are going to hold an investigation apparently.
I'd like to see some real evidence before I jump on the bandwagon.
difficult if they are historical abuses. How do you prove it. However i am still concerned that he said that he would get help for his behaviour, if he's done nothing wrong at all, why would you come out with that bald statement.
