the common denominator is not the left, or the right, it's men

10cs 10:11, we are going to need some evidence for that, unless.......
The world is now one where treading on eggshells lest we say something that some idiot somewhere is determined to find offensive is the norm. Humour is no more, light-heartedness is no more. What a miserable, grey world we are allowing to be created by the perpetually precious. Personally I'm sick of every word anyone has ever said being dragged out in order to denigrate them. People need to grow up and get a life.
That’s not the world I live in at all.
Apart from anything else, this wasn’t related to politics.
And the term in question is grubby indeed, but “nasty”?

It's not helped when people express faux outrage because it is the opposition, naomi. (unless this is genuine outrage and he is indeed a snowflake)
Wonder how many who were in the Bullingdon Club with Boris are now recieiving Lush Contracts for PPE etc ,and cash donations from the public purse .
I see David Cameron has been texting Rishi Sunak for some free cash. He's seen Matts mate get some, so he's got in touch with his mate.:0)
TTT on a high horse as a woke snowflake
go and do something more useful TTT - like campaign for the wholesale drowning of immigrant children - in their best interests of course ! my auld chyne - end of!
// The world is now one where treading on eggshells lest we say something that eny fule is determined to find offensive is the norm.//

luckily that rule is routinely ignored on AB - ter daaah !

the sentence above is gobbledegooky ( too many 'is'es - at least two main verbs) - but hey its a mad world my masters!
The virus set the ball of greed rolling very fast indeed, it now sits back just popping the odd one off here and there, but will leave total destruction to the masses.
Exactly, roy. And so it continues .... as is evidenced here.
I see the Bullingdon club is now called the Con Cronie Club .
@10.24.Surely Corbyn is/was the only Wurzel Gummidge impersonator nowadays.Same dress sense, same intellectual sense.
ynnaf - I know you said "nowadays" but don't forget Michael Foot.
The bar for being nasty is certainly set very low these days, if using the word milf ten years ago, earns you the badge.
My bar for nasty is set much higher. Rewarding NHS workers for their work these last 12 months, with a less than inflation pay rise, is, in my opinion - Nasty.
Threatening to go on strike due to being unhappy with a pay rise when the economy is knackered, thousands upon thousands of people are losing their livelihood and businesses are failing is, in my opinion - Nasty.

Not quite the “angels” and “heroes” we’re always told they are.
Weren't the Bullingdonistas more likely to go for PILFs?
royfromaus - I'd never heard of, or seen, that acronym either.
